What is Biss Key?

Biss key (Basic Interoperabel Scrambling System) is an other type of encryption System.This satellite signal scrambling system is developed by the EBU (European Broadcasting Union). This system work in the same way as Powervu and other encryption system.This system prohabit the satellite signals to telecaste the material.

The biss key is used to open the encrypeted channel and provided by the operators and channel works like FTA (Free to Air). Biss Key Encryption is used by A Plus Network, Dunya Network, PTV Network.

How to Add biss key in Echolink El 7000 HD Receiver?

You have to follow these Steps one by one...

Step 1: First Select the channel which you want to open via biss key?

Step 2: Press the Menu Button from your remote and Select the Multimedia Option

Step 3: Press the following code 1506 on the Multimedia Option

Step 4: Patch Option will be Enabled. You have to Select Patch Option from list

Step 5: Now select the CAS type Biss from Menu. Now Press the RED button from remote to Add the Biss key

Step 6: Now add the information one by one

• Frequency          
• SID (Hex)
• Biss Key
• Symbol Rate
• Polirization Horizenal/ Vertical

Then press the OK Button to Confirm.  Now Channel will be open Easily.
